Little Things

Simple shots (iPhone) of our life this past week. Tune back next week for a similar post! I’d also love to have you follow me on Instagram (@cakestand) if you’re interested in more photos of food and baby!

Little Things

We went to Houston to visit my sweet grandmother–the original Lucille.

Despite 80-90 degree weather, Texas still has its version of fall. Love these delicate yellow petals.

Traveling with an infant is EXHAUSTING.

But without her, I wouldn’t get to experience mice booties.

And this: her sweet sweet smile.

Beautiful photos, Monet! The first picture is so special, she looks so cozy and happy in the arms of her great grandmother! And the last photo, Lucy is the splitting image of Ryan!

Oh my gosh – those mice booties! And I love that polka dot headband! And that first photo is just precious. Have a great weekend Monet!

Little Lucy has the most darling smiles! I especially love the first picture. I know it’s a cliche, but my heart melts when I see these pictures. And those mice booties – I’ve got to get the pattern for those!

Glad you had a good trip! πŸ™‚

beautiful photos – the first has a timeless quality to it. Isn’t it precious when you can see both parents in a child? Little Lucy is the spitting image of your husband in that last photo! I always found the infant years fairly straightforward for travel but as soon as the walking started, it was game over (maybe that’s just boys…;-) ).

Wonderful pictures. Your daughter has the most precious smile and I love that she’s happily in the arms of the “original” Lucille! Thanks for sharing!
